Benefits of CHP

Community Health Partnerships is helping to deliver the National Health Service's first coordinated programme of major investment in new primary healthcare facilities. As a result, some of the best infrastructure, characteristically found mainly in the private sector, is now also available within NHS primary healthcare.

The methods pioneered by CHP offer benefits to the NHS in general, to individuals using NHS services, to staff and to organisations, such as local authorities that work in partnership with the NHS. There are also benefits to communities, in terms of general health provision and regeneration. CHP is a centre of learning, disseminating good practice that springs out of its innovative and creative ways of developing better community health and social care.
