Corporate Responsibility
Community Health Partnerships supports the charity Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK.
Founded in the UK in June 1986, Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK is a charity that grants the wishes of children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. Since its beginning in 1986, Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK has granted over 5 000 wishes. A wish can be anything and is only limited by the child's imagination.
The charity receives no government funding or lottery grants, relying solely on donations from individuals and companies across the UK.
Community Health Partnerships is supporting Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK in their mission and has nominated Make-A-Wish as their selected charity for the year. As well as a £500 Christmas donation in December 2008, Community health Partnerships has nominated Make-A-Wish®. as one of the three charities supported by the 2009 LIFT Awards: any profit made will be donated to three nominated charities.
