Kentish Town Health Centre, a development by Camden & Islington Community Solutions (CICS), has won the "Best Building Project" Award for schemes from £3m - £50m at the prestigious British Construction Industry Awards ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London
The category attracted 82 entries including many outstanding projects such as the Medieval Galleries at the V&A, Broadcasting Place Leeds, and the Snowdon Summit Building among others. Kentish Town Health Centre was joint winner with a Foster designed Hospital called CircleBath. This is the seventh award for KTHC.
This pioneering £10.6 million health centre in Camden, which was designed by architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, offers integrated healthcare facilities for the local community, as well as a staff library, training centre and conference rooms.
