Clock View Hospital in Liverpool triumphed in three categories at the recent Design in Mental Health Awards 2016
The hospital received awards for Service User Experience, Healthy Outdoor Lifestyle Award and Design Champion in recognition of the revolutionary approach to mental health service design.
Clock View is an 85 bed residential mental health facility in Walton, north Liverpool that provides short-stay treatment for people with a range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety and dementia. It also provides the city’s psychiatric intensive care unit for those most in distress and in need of urgent patient care.
Opening its doors in 2015, the state-of-the-art hospital is designed to provide a therapeutic environment that promotes recovery. The innovative design maximizes the use of natural light with light, airy spaces and provides safe inner garden courtyards.
Graham Spence, CHP Commercial Director, commented: “It is great to see Clock View recognised at these awards. "
