Health Minister Simon Burns MP has officially opened Brierley Hill's new Health and Social Care Centre.
During the visit, the Minister met staff and unveiled a plaque at the new £26.5m Brierley Hill one-stop medical shop which opened its doors in June.
He said: "Brierley Hill is a great example of integrated health and social care services and I was impressed with the range of services available for the community in a comfortable and modern environment.
"It is services like these that will improve outcomes for patients and enable them to lead healthier lives."
The Brierley Hill Health and Social Care centre houses more than 400 health and social care staff and offers a range of health services including audiology, contraception and sexual health, community nursing, therapy services, two GP practices, Dudley Adult Community and Housing Services (DACHS) and space for community organisations to hire.
Commissioned by NHS Dudley and Dudley Council and project managed by Dudley Infracare LIFT - it is the largest NHS LIFT building in the country to date and won the National LIFT Award for Regeneration in 2009.
Sarah Dugan, chief executive of NHS Dudley said: "We are delighted to have formally opened this fantastic building.
"The project has been successfully delivered through a true partnership approach. The new building offers state-of-the-art heath facilities to the local population right on their doorstep."
