Citycare has been shortlisted for two categories in this year's Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Awards.
The Hull-based developer, which has completed nine schemes within Hull's NHS Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) programme to date and is currently on site with its 10th, has been nominated as a finalist in both the Community Benefit and Sustainability categories and will be visited by the judging panel over the coming weeks.
It is The Orchard Centre, Citycare's flagship £14m health, community and council facility which opened in Orchard Park, north Hull, last November, which has been shortlisted for the categories. The awards received record levels of entries this year, with over 400 properties and schemes putting themselves forward for the prestigious award. Shortlisted schemes will compete in various categories, including: Building Conservation, Sustainability, Community Benefit and Regeneration.
Citycare will first have to impress judges in their categories at the regional heats in Leeds on Friday, May 14th. The winners of categories at this stage will then go on to compete at the Grand Final at London's Guildhall in October.
