Following it's success at the RICS North West Awards earlier in the year, Liverpool and Sefton Health Partnership's Kensington Health Centre has been shortlisted in the Regeneration category at the National Awards which will be held in London on 17 October.
Situated on a major gateway to Liverpool city centre, this £5m facility replaced previously poor quality accommodation and boosting the capacity to deliver a broader range of services.
This latest nomination is clear recognition of the innovation and renegeration benefits that the centre has brought to the local area since opening in 2013.
This year's National Awards will be hosted by Channel 4's restoration man, George Clarke and nomination include an impressive array of the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, property, construction and the environment.
Michael Webb, general manager of LSHP Ltd, says: “When we first set out to undertake these plans for the Kensington programme, we had a clear vision of the attractive and modern health centres in which we wanted to deliver.
“The centre has helped kick start regeneration in the local area and is now thriving creating an attractive community hub in an area which is a on a key gateway to Liverpool."
