Local residents to name two new wards at Eltham Community Hospital

Ahead of the new Eltham Community Hospital opening in early 2015, residents of the Royal Borough of Greenwich are being given the opportunity to name the developmentā€™s two new wards.

Back in November Eltham residents and students were invited to submit name ideas and from these a shortlist of 11 entries has been selected by the judging panel.

All of the names chosen reflect the local community or show a connection with Eltham’s past or future.

Voting can be done online and ballot boxes are also at Eltham Centre, Eltham Palace Surgery and Eltham Medical Practice.

Voting closes at midnight on 19 January 2015 and the winners will be announced shortly after.
