The exciting developments in North Road and Valkyrie Road will include a range of services including GPs, a pharmacy, blood taking and community nursing services. It is also hoped that the centres will become a community hub that can be used by local groups and residents.
By offering a greater range of services in fit-for-purpose buildings the centres will benefit residents who live in some of the most densely populated and deprived areas in south east Essex.
GPs have been totally supportive of these developments and have been involved throughout the design process.
Dr Wendy Cordess of West Road Surgery said: "Our patients and staff are both equally excited to be moving into a new building. We are sure that it will help us to maintain an excellent standard of patient care."
